Today, my middle son came up to me yelling, "I can't open my eye!" He was crying and rubbing his eye running around the bathroom in a panic. I open his eye and I see that his top eyelashes are tucked under his bottom lid. As I spread his eyelids apart his lashes popped right up, and that screaming crying two year old does a quick blink, and runs off to play with his older brother. It was as if nothing had happened at all.
This just reminds me how quickly things can change in life. God will throw things into our lives that can be irritating and uncomfortable, but once you figure out how to adjust we can continue being happy.
